What’s included
- Fillable PDF, tickets 001 to 100. Five tickets per page, 20 pages. Type on any ticket and all 100 update.
- Editable Word version. Same layout. One Find and Replace fills every ticket.
- A tear-off stub on every ticket for the buyer’s name, phone and email, with the matching number.
- Every ticket includes your organization, prize or raffle name, drawing date and time, drawing location, donation amount, ticket number, and “need not be present to win.”
From download to drawing in about ten minutes
- Fill in your details. Open the PDF and type into the first ticket. Everything copies to the rest. In Word, use Find and Replace on the bracketed placeholders.
- Print at 100%. Choose actual size, not “fit to page,” so the cut lines stay even.
- Cut along the dashed lines. A paper cutter makes this fast. Fold along the line between the stub and the ticket so it tears cleanly.
- Sell. Hand the buyer the ticket. Drop the stub, with their name and number, in the drawing container.
- Track your numbers. Write down which number ranges went to which seller. It saves a lot of hunting later.
A few things we’ve learned the hard way
- Number before you hand out. Give each seller a block (001 to 025, 026 to 050) and write it down.
- Card stock pays for itself. Stubs on thin paper tear, stick together, and are miserable to draw from.
- Put the donation amount on the ticket. Buyers trust a printed price more than a verbal one.
- Need more than 100? Print the set again on a different color paper and add a letter to the numbers (A001, B001) so every ticket stays unique.
Printable raffle ticket FAQ
How many tickets come in the template?
100, numbered 001 to 100, five per page across 20 pages.
Can I change the numbers?
The PDF numbers are fixed. If you need a different range, print a second set on different colored paper and mark it with a letter so the numbers stay unique.
Will it work on a Mac?
Yes. The PDF fills in with Preview, Adobe Reader or Chrome. The Word file opens in Word, Pages or Google Docs.
Why doesn’t my typing show up on every ticket?
Some very old PDF viewers don’t copy shared fields. Open it in Adobe Reader or Chrome and it’ll work.
What should be printed on a raffle ticket?
At minimum: your organization’s name, what the prize is, when and where the drawing happens, the ticket price, and a unique number on both the ticket and the stub. Some states require more, so check your state’s rules.
What paper should I print raffle tickets on?
Regular letter paper works fine. Card stock in the 65 to 110 lb range feels like a real ticket and holds up better in a drawing container.
